IPL 2021: Will Arjun Tendulkar be part of Mumbai Indians playing XI vs RCB as he is in people's Dream11 team

If he is a Tendulkar, he has to play for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), whether it's Sachin or Arjun. But will the 21-year old, son of former Indian batsman feature in the starting playing XI for his side is a million-dollar question for every cricket fan.

Mumbai Indians take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening encounter of IPL 2021 in Chennai on Friday, April 9. While Mumbai Indians will start without their first-choice opener Quinton de Kock, which will open up an overseas slot, paving way for the Australian hard-hitting batsman Chris Lynn to debut for the men in blue. 

But does the quarantine and isolation situation mean Arjun could get a look in? It looks difficult at least at the start as Mumbai have a settled bowling line-up and wouldn't want to change it in any which way. With Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard making up the 5, 6 and 7 of the MI line-up, it leaves a space for the leg-spinner, whether its Rahul Chahar or Piyush Chawla, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult and one of Nathan Coulter-Nile or Adam Milne.

As the tournament progresses and the teams start to give rest to some of their key players, Arjun might have a slight chance to feature in the IPL but it looks difficult at the start, despite many people picking him in their Dream11 teams for the first encounter.

Many people are shooting in the dark and hoping for Arjun to start, having an outside chance to do so. But nevertheless, even if he features in only one or two games, people will be looking forward to watch the Master Blaster's prodigious to feature on the world's biggest stage.
