Sangeeta Kumari, hailing from Nepal, tied the knot with Govind Kumar of Bihar after connecting online two years ago.
In a tale reminiscent of Seema Haider and Sachin Meena, another woman, hailing from Nepal, embarked on a journey to India to be with her lover, leaving behind her husband and two children. Yet, her story took a different course compared to Seema Haider's, as she discovered that her love interest was already married.
Meet Sangeeta Kumari (29), who wed Govind Kumar (32), a resident of Darbhanga in Bihar, after connecting on social media two years back. Sadly, Sangeeta encountered a profound setback when she unraveled that Govind was not only already married but also had a child.
Around two years ago, Sangeeta and Govind tied the knot in a Nepali temple and started living in Raxaul. However, circumstances turned dire when Govind, previously employed at a financial firm, was transferred to Samastipur. Despite assuring Sangeeta of his imminent return to take her along, Govind never came back.
Perplexed by his absence, Sangeeta took the initiative to learn more about Govind from his workplace. Armed with this information, she ventured to Govind's residence in Darbhanga. There, she was taken aback to find him cohabiting with another woman, Prerna Kumari.
This shocking revelation left both Sangeeta and Prerna feeling betrayed and aggrieved. The two women, joined by Govind's family, engaged in a heated confrontation. Eventually, Govind's parents directed Sangeeta and Prerna to leave the house, and they, in turn, locked up the premises before departing.
Responding to this disturbing turn of events, Sangeeta and Prerna sought assistance at the women's police station in Darbhanga, filing complaints against Govind and his family. Prerna disclosed that Govind legally married her eight years ago in a court and they even share a two-year-old daughter.
