When Kaushik Poddar logged into his PC this morning he was determined to beat his competition, like many others, in bagging the best deals on the Flipkart.com website. However just hours after his bought the Samsung LED TV worth Rs. 47950 that claimed to be heavily discounted, little did he know that he will be getting a cancellation email from Flipkart.com
An angered Kaushik took to twitter to not only bring the matter to public eye but also find others like him.
He tweeted,
Order cancelled by @flipkart to give opportunity to everyone. Like seriously??? pic.twitter.com/ct2cspptc8

On speaking to dna exclusively, Poddar said, "It is understandable if I order 5 products and they cancel a few, but this was the only one I ordered. What is more surprising is that the same product was seen on sale at a higher price hours later which means they are definitely not 'out of stock'."
Poddar had placed his order at 12 p.m. and received the email from Flipkart.com at 4 p.m.
Poddar further rued , ' This basically means that my money will be with them for 10 days interest free, so similarly if others also faced this situation then there could be crores lying with Flipkart.com for the next 10 days"
. @_sachinbansal Its the lamest excuse one could had given for cancellation. Technically my money is misappropriated for 10+ days 1/2

Much later Flipkart's twitter handle responded.
Dear @flipkartsupport there is a larger issue which cannot be solved by just talking care of my order. Happy to discuss.

@beeayeanoowhy Well going by it by luring ppl they must have taken orders worth 100+ crores and then cancelled and kept the money. Free loan

Poddar feels that the website may have tried to pacify him by responding to his tweet however he will be looking at ways to take legal action.
He tweeted,
@pbkulkarni will be taking up all these issues with the EOW soon @Flipkart
