If you are a South Indian, you'd know how to do the 'dappangkuthu'. You see this street-style dance in most movies and Tamil film actors and their fans especially love these dance moves.

For those in the dark, 'Put chutney' has come out with a fun and quirky video teaching you how to do the 'dappangkuthu'. The video features 'subject matter experts' who take you through each of the steps and even teach you the various facial expressions.

If you don't have 'gethu' or swag, the dance isn't for you, but then, did you know there is also a science behind it? While the experts explain,  Anil Srinivasan, one of the finest pianists in India, has come up with a snazzy score for the video. Karthikeya Murthy, Harish and Prashanth accompany him on music. Vikas Rao and Sanchana Natrajan play dancers. The video has been directed by Joel Nigli  and written by Rajiv Rajaram (Creative Director, Culture Machine).

A release by the team says, "The ' dappangkuthu' is an age-old ethnic street dance that comes to play during every phase of a person in Tamil Nadu. There are different styles and this video pays tribute to the most underrated dance form of all time."
