The singer-cum-actress received the Supporting Actress of the Year for her role accolade at the 14th Annual Capri Hollywood International Film Festival on December 28, 2009.

The ‘Hero’ hit-maker made a make-up free appearance as a dowdy social worker in the Lee Daniels-directed movie, reports The Daily Express.
