According to reports, Allu Arjun has briefed Pushpa 2 director Sukumar to make the film 'bigger than SS Rajamouli's RRR'.
Allu Arjun who recently created history by winning National Award for Pushpa: The Rise, becoming the first Telugu actor to do so, is currently awaiting the release of his much-anticipated movie Pushpa 2. Now if the reports are to be believed, the actor has briefed filmmaker Sukumar to make the movie “bigger than I.”
According to a report in Koimoi, a source close to Allu Arjun told the entertainment portal the brief that the actor gave to the director and said, “Allu Arjun has one brief for his Pushpa director Sukumar: “Make its larger than the first part. Arjun wants the sequel Pushpa2: The Rule to be bigger than Rajamouli’s RRR. Arjun is very keen to go global with Pushpa 2. The VFX and the stunts will be on a scale larger than R.”
The source added, “The immediate provocation for giving Pushpa 2 a global spin is Gadar 2. Allu Arjun feels there is potential in the Pushpa franchise to make an impact similar to Gadar 2. He is not taking any risks with achieving a global grandeur and impact in Pushpa 2. Arjun’s brief to the team is: bigger than RRR.”
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun recently grabbed headlines when he became the first Telugu actor to win a National Award and after his historic win, the actor took to his Twitter and thanked the fans for their love and said, "A huge congratulations to all the national award winners across various categories and languages throughout the nation. Your accomplishments are truly commendable. & I would like to express my gratitude for the love and wishes pouring in from all corners of the country. I feel honored and humbled by it all. Helmed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is a direct sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil reprise their roles as Pushpa, Srivalli, and SP Bhanwar Singh in the sequel. The Telugu language movie is produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Sukumar Writings and is scheduled to release in 2024.
