The third phase of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and the entrance exam for fourth phase will be held from July 27 to August 2.
In a good news for lakhs of students preparing for JEE Main 2021 entrance exam dates, the exam dates for the third and and fourth phases of JEE Main 2021 were announced on Tuesday (July 6) by then Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank after a long wait due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The third phase of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from July 20 to 25 and the entrance exam for the fourth phase will be held from July 27 to August 2. It may be recalled that the entrance exams of JEE Main 2021 were scheduled to be held in April and May but the National Testing Agency (NTA) decided to postpone these exams due to rising coronavirus cases.
For those candidates who have failed to apply for JEE Main 2021 entrance due to any reason, the application windown has been reopened by NTA. According to a notice issued by the NTA, the applications for the third session will be accepted from July 6 to July 8, while for the fourth session, applications can be made from July 9 to July 11. The NTA is also allowing the JEE Main 2021 entrance exam candidates to change their exam centre.

The Education Ministry has said that it has decided to double the number of exam centres to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection. The JEE Main 2021 entrance exam exam will be conducted keeping in mind all the coronavirus guidelines. According to the notification issued earlier, the exam will be conducted in some 13 languages. All other information related to JEE Main 2021 entrance exam is available on the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Meanwhile, the students waiting for NEET 2021 entrance exam are hopeful that the government will soon declare the date of NEET 2021 exam as well. Till now, the National Testing Agency (NTA) nor the Education Ministry has not made an official announcement in regards to the NEET 2021 exam date. It is important to know that NTA had set August 1 as a date for conducting the NEET 2021 entrance exam, however, there is no update about it as yet amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
It may be recalled that CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 were cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. The CBSE has now opted for a different marking system to finalise the CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 results. It is learnt that the CBSE will declare the Class 12 results on July 31.
