Mukesh Ambani is the richest billionaire in India, and his home in Mumbai – Antilia – is his most expensive property, valued at over Rs 15,000 crore approximately. However, many people don’t know that Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan helped design the lavish house.
In 2019, Gauri Khan revealed that she will be designing a part of Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia, partnering with the billionaire’s wife, Nita Ambani. SRK and his family have been close friends with the Ambanis for a long time, and share a strong relationship.
Nita Ambani and Gauri Khan announced that they will jointly be designing and redecorating the luxurious bar lounge area of Antilia, which is where Mukesh Ambani and his wife host majority of their high profile and Bollywood guests.
Nita Ambani visited Gauri Khan in her interior design company office – Gauri Khan Designs – and finalized the deal for SRK’s wife to design the lavish bar lounge area of Mukesh Ambani’s Rs 15,000 crore home.
Apart from being a successful Bollywood producer, Gauri Khan has established her interior design company and designed several luxurious spaces. Other than Mukesh Ambani’s Antilia, Khan designed homes for several Bollywood stars such as Sidharth Malhotra, Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor and more.
Gauri Khan, according to news reports, has a net worth of over Rs 1600 crore, when you factor in her production house Red Chillies Entertainment and interior design firm Gauri Khan Designs. Meanwhile, her husband and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has a net worth of over Rs 6000 crore.
Gauri Khan Designs net worth is over Rs 200 crore and it is estimated that her charges for interior design projects is over Rs 6 lakhs.
