Meet Vikram Salgaocar, lesser-known brother of Akash, Anant, Isha Ambani, worked under Mukesh Ambani

The first name that comes to mind when we think of the Ambani family is Mukesh Ambani, one of the richest people in the world, along with Dhirubhai Ambani, who laid the groundwork for Reliance and nurtured it with his steadfast work ethic. Anil Ambani, the brother of Mukesh Ambani, has lately made headlines after winning an arbitration lawsuit against DVC. Few people are aware that Deepti Salgaocar and Nina Kothari are the sisters of Mukesh and Anil Ambani. Let’s get to know Vikram Salgaocar today, the son of Deepti and Dattaraj Salgaocar.

Isha, Anant, and Akash Ambani's oldest cousin, Vikram, is also Dhirubhai Ambani's grandson. He is the brother of Ischeta Salgaocar. The V.M. Salgaocar Group of Companies is owned by his father. Iron ore, coal, and wind energy are the company's primary product lines.

Salgaocar did his BBA from the University of Pennsylvania. The Wharton graduate divides his time between various business pursuits in India and the United States.

Vikram began his career as an associate with McKinsey & Company in 2007 and later joined Reliance Entertainment as the Business Development Manager. He is currently the director of V.N Salgaocar Hotels and Resorts Private Limited, as per reported by FE.

He is a very reserved person and stays away from the limelight. In fact, his whole family is not very active socially. You will hardly find them attending any occasions with the Ambani family. 

Deepti's husband Dattaraj Salgaocar founded Sunaparanta with the intention of preserving Goa's culture and heritage. Deepti is the institution's vice-chairperson and a member of the advisory board.
