Meet Sumir Chadha, Harvard grad, who co-founded investment firm, bought luxurious apartment worth Rs 96 crore

Recently, a Mumbai apartment was sold for Rs. 96 crore. According to Moneycontrol, Sumir Chadha, co-founder and managing director of the investment firm Best Bridge Capital, purchased it for Rs 96 crore.

Who is Sumir Chadha?

Co-founder and managing partner at WestBridge Capital is Sumir Chadha. Prior to starting WestBridge Capital and Sequoia, Chadha also worked for Goldman Sachs.  Sumir, one of the best investing experts, received his degree from the renowned Princeton University. He attended Harvard Business School for his MBA after receiving a graduation certificate.

Inside apartment worth Rs 96 crore

In Worli, Mumbai, this apartment is situated on the 60th floor. It was offered by Oberoi Realty Ltd. and was purchased. Sumir, the buyer, paid stamp duty for this apartment in the amount of Rs. 3.59 crore. The agreement was filed on August 18, 2023. The high-priced apartment features a 7,459 square foot built up space and a 6,799 square foot carpeted area. Oasis Realty is the company that constructed this project.

One of the most expensive residential transactions in history, the flat, which measures 7,459 square feet and is located on the 60th level of the Oberoi Three Sixty West complex, is valued at around Rs 1.29 lakh per square foot. The apartment is valued at more than Rs 1.42 lakh per square foot based on the 6,779 sq. ft. of carpet space.

The immediate family and close friends of D Mart owner Radhakishan Damani bought a large deal of 28 apartments in Three Sixty West's Tower B for a price of Rs. 1,238 crore earlier in February.
