According to the India Bullion and Jewelers Association, while gold became cheaper by Rs 438 on Friday after opening at Rs 46,256 per 10 grams in the bullion markets, silver fell by Rs 113 to Rs 60,675. At the same time, the futures price of gold on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) has become 46,070 and the futures price of silver is 60,630.
