Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, who is the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, confessed that she as a child felt that her parents were ‘negative people’. In her recent interview, Sara revealed that she thought her 'father uses bad language and  mom runs a porn site' after watching Saif and Amrita in ‘Omkara’ and ‘Kalyug’ respectively.

In the 2006 crime drama ‘Omkara’, Saif Ali Khan played the character of Ishwar ‘Langda’ Tyagi who was an antagonist. Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn, Vivek Oberoi, and Konkona Sen Sharma were also seen in the movie. While ‘Kalyug’ was an action thriller that was released in the year 2005. It featured Kunal Kemmu, Ashutosh Rana, Smilie Suri, Emraan Hashmi, and Amrita Singh.

While speaking to Harper's Bazaar India, Sara Ali Khan talked about her film-based memories when she was a child. She stated, “All I remember is watching Omkara (2006) and Kalyug (2005) and being really disturbed that my parents were such negative people (laughs)! I was very young and I used to think that my father uses bad language and that my mom runs a porn site...it was not fun! And because they were both nominated for ‘best actor in a negative role’ in the same year, I was, like, ‘What is this!?’.”

Referring to the last few years, Sara mentioned, "I have always been mama’s girl, I’ve always been an explorer and highly-motivated, and I haven’t inculcated this trait from a tutor, home, or a gym trainer... I’m the one who will want to do five more push-ups, read one more chapter of chemistry, or request for another reading of a script. Yes, life and the circumstances around me have changed... I’m getting better at compartmentalising my emotions—just because you’ve had a bad day at work doesn’t mean you fight with your mother, or not perform well at work."

For the unversed, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh parted ways in 2004, however, they are parents to Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Meanwhile, Sara entered the film industry with the movie ‘Kedarnath’ in the year 2018. She was seen in movies like ‘Simmba’, ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’, and ‘Coolie No 1’. Soon we will see her in Anand L Rai’s film ‘Atrangi Re’ along with Akshay Kumar and Dhanush.
