Karisma Kapoor is all set to make her digital debut with Mentalhood, directed by Karishma Kohli, a web series that revolves around the challenges of parenting and is currently busy with promoting the show full-fledged. In a recent interview with Film Companion, Karisma said that she likes to keep a low profile in real life.

"I have always been a very private person, even though I am an actor. When people meet me, they are like, 'How did you these songs and work in David Dhawan films?' I never used to like to wear sleeveless also. It was very odd. I was very conservative, or I don’t know what to call it, personality-wise," she said.

Karisma who boasts of having more than five million followers on Instagram also made it clear that though she shares bits from her life on social media, she will never put her entire life online, for the world to see. "I also feel that I have been a person who likes to move with the times. That’s really important also for me, as a person. This is the digital age but yes, I am a bit particular about what I post and what I don’t. I like certain things to be private and people respect that about me," Karisma said.

Speaking of Mentalhood, the show also features Dino Morea, Shruti Seth, Sandhya Mridul, Shilpa Shukla and Tillotama Shome. The show will premiere on March 11 on ALTBalaji and Zee5. Karisma’s last major Bollywood release was Vikram Bhatt’s supernatural thriller Dangerous Ishhq in 2012 after which she made special appearances in the anthology Bombay Talkies (2013) and Aanand L Rai’s Zero (2018).
