Dream Girl 2's leading star Ananya Panday shared an exciting throwback photo of her father with Sunny Deol, which created a surprising crossover between Gadar 2 and Dream Girl 2. On her Instagram, Ananya shared pictures from the movie Lootere (1993), that starred Sunny Deol and Chunky Panday in the leads. In the photos, Sunny is seen in a Sikh avatar posing with Chunky. These moments are from the song Oye Pappe Bachalo in which Chunky- is seen dressed up as a woman.
Ananya shared the photos and also called Chunky as 'Barbie' of the 90s. In the caption she wrote, "Gadar 2 meets Barbie meets DreamGirl 2 can’t get over this."

However, the actor’s performance in Dream Girl 2 has beaten his record and made the movie his biggest opening by collecting Rs 10.69 crore in India net and 12.60 crore worldwide on day 1.
