'I was distressed to learn about the news of the train crash in West Bengal yesterday resulting in the loss of over 60 precious lives,' said the Pakistan foreign minister.

Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi today mourned the death of 66 people who were killed when the Ranchi-bound Vananchal Express was hit from behind by Uttarbanga Express at Sainthia station in Birbhum district yesterday.
"I was distressed to learn about the news of the train crash in West Bengal yesterday resulting in the loss of over 60 precious lives," Qureshi said in a condolence message sent to external affairs minister SM Krishna.
Qureshi conveyed his "deep condolences" to Krishna and the families and friends of the deceased.
