Johnny Depp planning documentary on Keith Richards

Hollywood star Johnny Depp is planning to make a documentary on Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, it has emerged.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has already started working on the project. It is widely known that Depp's Jack Sparrow character was modelled on Richards, reports China Daily.

The actor also has other music-related projects in the works. He is reportedly teaming with Nick Cave and Shane MacGowan to record a charity single for Haiti earthquake relief.
