Ekta Kapoor dashes to ground zero, here's why

Her latest series, Home, is no different. It’s about a family that loses their house and the struggle that ensues. Demolition of illegal constructions has become rampant with a new case unfolding every day. In such a scenario, a show like this is pertinent. In order to understand the plight of people who face this crisis, Ekta took out time from her hectic schedule and recently visited residents of Shahberi village in Greater Noida. They had lost their homes due to illegal constructions. Two buildings were demolished as they were constructed without authorisation. 

Ekta spent time with the locals to understand their pain and realised how the common man has to bear the brunt of the builders’ mischief.
