Dame Helen Mirren is set to be honoured in the Madame Tussauds hall of fame with a waxwork in her likeness. As many as 20 sculptors will create the wax model at a cost of £1,50,000 to be unwrapped at the London tourist attraction.

Over 300 body measurements were taken for the statue that will go on display in April, reports the Telegraph. The Oscar-winning actress was also said to have donated a black lace evening gown she wore to the Crime Thriller Awards in 2008.

The 64-year-ols star is up for the run for her third Golden Globe for her performance as Sofya Tolstoy in The Last Station.
