Most film stars' kids have some sort of connection to the industry. Few famous children defy expectations and forge their own identities. It's interesting to note that Shrutanjaya, the son of a well-known actor, achieved success outside of the film industry.

Who is IAS Shrutanjaya Narayanan?

When his son made it to the top 100 rank list of the UPSC results, Tamil actor Chinni Jayanth (actual name Krishnamurthy Narayanan) was extremely proud. In high school and college, Shrutanjaya Narayanan liked to perform in plays and other events with friends. 

Each performance was seen by his father Chinni Jayanti. Shrutanjaya saw theater as an opportunity to express himself and meet new people on stage. He currently holds the position of Sub Collector in the Tamil Nadu district of Tiruppur. He earned his Bachelor's degree from the College of Engineering, Guindy. Later on, Shrutanjaya went to Ashoka University for his Master's degree.

IAS officer from the 2015 batch, Shrutanjaya Narayanan achieved a rank of 75 in his second attempt at the UPSC. Shrutanjay is a highly upbeat individual. He received a lot of assistance from his instructors, family, and friends as he studied for the UPSC exam. On his second attempt, he was employed for a startup.

UPSC exam, interview tips by IAS Shrutanjaya Narayanan

The candidate must make an impression in this interview within the allotted 20 minutes, according to IAS Shrutanjaya Narayanan. Shrutanjay had opted for Sociology as an elective. He has a keen interest in geography as well.

Shrutanjaya Narayanan used to work in a start-up and spend 4-5 hours per day self-studying. He then worked the night shift. A couple of weeks prior to the test, he revised his study strategy. After that, he would spend 10 to 12 hours studying. In addition to this, he also paid close attention to his health. Yoga was a component of his routine in addition to a healthy diet and enough sleep.
