Sunrisers Hyderabad, who finished runners-up just two seasons ago, will once again be looking to do their business silently in IPL 2020.
Since their inaugural season in 2013, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have easily been one of the most consistent sides in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Hyderabad franchise is widely renowned for being very competitive and with the leadership changing from Kane Williamson to David Warner, one can expect the team to pull-off key victories from unwinnable positions.
Going into the 13th edition of the IPL, SRH have lost one of their ever-so-reliable openers in Shikhar Dhawan to Delhi Capitals, but the franchise did buy some big potential at this year's auction in Kolkata. While season veteran foreign players in David Warner, Jonny Bairstow and Rashid Khan are catalysts to Kane's side, new arrivals Mitchell Marsh and Fabian Allen are expected to match the brilliance of the rest of the orange brigade.

After winning the IPL in 2016, beating Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the final, SRH have failed to make an impression in the playoffs since then.

Indian pacer Siddarth Kaul is easily the one standout players in Sunrisers Hyderabad's ranks, who has bowled some match-winning deliveries for his side over the past seasons. Since making his IPL debut back in 2013, Siddarth has a very impressive average of 28.26 in the tournament. The right-arm fast-bowler picked up six wickets in seven matches during IPL 2019, with an 8.96 economy rate.
Sunrisers Hyderabad overseas player to watch out for
While one might pick skipper Kane Williamson or David Warner as main threats, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan will once again be the man causing havoc to the opposition. Equally capable with the ball and bat, Rashid has developed a reputation for himself for being a match-winner in his three-season in the IPL. During last year's tournament, the star allrounder picked up 17 wickets in 15 matches.
