New Zealand will be looking to continue the domination of the West Indies in Twenty20 cricket as they play the third and final Twenty20 International at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui. After a thrilling win in the final over in Auckland, New Zealand blew West Indies away in the second Twenty20 International with a magnificent 72-run win thanks to Glenn Phillips’ century and some magnificent bowling from the likes of Kyle Jamieson, Lockie Ferguson and Mitchell Santner. Jamieson and Santner picked up two wickets apiece as West Indies lost their fourth T20I in five encounters against the Kiwis.

Glenn Phillips, though, created history as he smashed a century off just 45 balls and it broke the previous record of Colin Munro in which he had hit a century off 46 balls. This was the fastest ton by a New Zealand player in T20Is and his experience in the Caribbean Premier League 2020 came handy here.
After the end of the three Twenty20 International series, West Indies will play New Zealand in two Tests starting from December 3 and December 11 in Hamilton and Wellington.
