‘What is in a name?’ William Shakespeare, the famous poet once quoted. If you are Niroshan Dickwella, the Sri Lanka cricketer who is their wicketkeeper batsman, then this quote might hurt him. The reason is a bizzare one. In a Twitter screenshot shared by cricket writer Jarrod Kimber, a popular cricket video game has censored Niroshan Dickwella’s name. Cricket 19, which is one of the popular video games related to cricket, has censored Niroshan Dickwella’s name in a hilarious but flummoxing manner. This might not go down well with many Sri Lankan gamers who might object to the cricketer’s name being censored for no fault of his. Niroshan Dickwella’s full name is Dickwella Patabendige Dilantha Niroshan Dickwella.
