Zee Business kicks off unique initiative

Zee Business and Motilal Oswal Securities have kicked off a unique initiative, ‘Investor ki kahani usiki zubani’, to educate investors about the nuances of investing in stock markets. The programme has been conducted in four cities and the fifth event is being organised in Pune on Friday at SM Joshi Hall from 10 am.

“Equities have delivered good returns over a long period and are an important asset class for wealth creation. However, in the short term, it can be volatile and impact one’s portfolio. Hence, it is important for investors to understand the dynamics of equity markets and take informed decisions based on sound advice,’’ said Motilal Oswal, CMD, Motilal Oswal Financial Services.

At the seminar, experts from Motilal Oswal will provide insights on investing versus trading and the latest outlook on markets. The show has been a big success and within 10 days of its launch, more than 600 investors registered to be a part of this unique television show.

The series aims to invite investors to share common problems and mistakes made during investing and, in turn, get expert advice on how to solve these problems. Shortlisted people are invited to get their problems addressed at the seminar and also top three experiences of investors will be aired on Zee Business in the show.

There have been many other initiatives taken by Zee Business to educate the investors, which is the aim of the channel. “There is a regular market update, but Zee Business was also successful in conducting a reality show, ‘Hunt for India’s Smart Investor’.

With such initiatives, Zee Business aims to educate the common investor so that they can avoid the mistakes that others have already made,  sources added.
