Apply at Scale addresses the time-consuming job application procedure, which has grown even more difficult in the present climate.
The revolutionary platform streamlines the job application process, providing personalized support to job seekers in the US and Europe. The hard macroeconomic environment has placed a pall over many, particularly immigrants who fled their home nations in search of a better life. Layoffs and economic insecurity have left many professionals and graduates facing unexpected career challenges, including the risk of losing their visa status owing to unemployment. Among these adversities, a ray of light shines through the story of invention and persistence told by "Apply at Scale," a game-changing firm pushing its way through the startup environment.
Founders Leela Yanamaddi, an Ashoka University and Carnegie Mellon University graduate, and Balaji Kummari have launched a venture that turns misfortune into opportunity. Apply at Scale addresses the time-consuming job application procedure, which has grown even more difficult in the present climate. With the goal of making job applications easier for applicants in the United States and Europe, the firm allows job searchers to concentrate their time on networking and skill development.
The traditional job application process might be time-consuming. Candidates frequently submit a large number of applications before receiving interviews, let alone job offers. The application procedure is riddled with repetitious forms, unnecessary document submissions, and complex applicant tracking systems. Apply at Scale aims to revolutionise this process by offloading application administration to a dedicated team of specialists, streamlining the applicant experience.
Apply at Scale recognises the importance of personalisation and assigns dedicated human resources specialists to manage candidate applications. This customised strategy guarantees that candidates receive tailored communication and support throughout their journey, improving their overall experience.
Candidates provide their preferences for job roles, functions, industries, geographic regions, and target firms. Using this information, Apply at Scale executives look for appropriate openings across professional networks and job portals, then apply on the individuals' behalf. This new strategy has the potential to level the playing field for both students and seasoned professionals, enhancing their chances of landing several interviews and empowering them to negotiate for employment that match their goals.
"We are not limited to a service-based model." In addition to our existing Job Sourcing and tracking offering, we're working on AI-powered tools such as a Resume Maker suited to each Job Description and a Job Recommendation Engine based on Job Description-Resume Keyword Match," explains Balaji Kummari.
Apply at Scale arose from the personal experience of its co-founder, Leela Yanamaddi. Despite his prestigious credentials, Leela found himself applying to hundreds of jobs after migrating to the United States for his Master's degree at Carnegie Mellon University. His persistence resulted in four job offers from unicorns and mid-sized organisations, but the trip was difficult. He saw the opportunity to scale this assistance to others in similar situations, which led to the creation of Apply at Scale.
While AI-powered automation seems enticing, the startup admits that complete automation is still a long way off. The full methodology of Apply at Scale includes teaching associates in India to understand US recruiting practices, candidate criteria, and firm hiring processes. These associates then serve as executive assistants, applying for jobs on candidates' behalf depending on their preferences.
Apply at Scale has already supported 80 individuals, with 56 of them receiving employment offers since its debut. Successful candidates' response has been overwhelmingly favourable, resulting in recommendations and an expanding subscription base. The firm intends to go even further, supporting even more people in finding and enhancing their careers.
