Actor Sunny Leone appeared on Arbaaz Khan's chat show 'Quick Heal Pinch?' and responded to some brutal comments in her usual sassy manner
Sunny Leone, who started her career as an adult film star when 19, made her Bollywood debut with 2012's 'Jism 2', a year after she participated in reality TV show 'Bigg Boss'. She has come a long way in the Hindi film industry since then but there are still some people who never lose an opportunity to try to shame her for her past.
When she recently appeared on Arbaaz Khan's chat show 'Quick Heal Pinch?', she opened up about how she deals with online trolling and negativity in general. Following the format of the show, Arbaaz made her read out some nasty comments on her social media posts.
The first one she stumbled upon said, "A porn star's retirement plan is Indian film industry." Sunny responded to it in her usual sassy manner: "I love my retirement plan except I am not doing nothing... I am working every single day."
The next comment went something like this, "Sunny Leone anticipated porn ban and wisely shifted her career. Indeed a visionary." Reacting to this troll, Sunny said, "Every single personal takes decisions that best for them at the moment. My decisions were best for me at the moment. Have I evolved? Absolutely, have I moved on? Absolutely."
The next comment got the strongest reply from her. The troll said, "Family business probably is the last thing Sunny Leone will ever suggest her children as a career option."
Sunny, who owns a cosmetic line, laughed it out and said: "Yeah probably, why would I want to do that? But if they want to be in the Indian film industry, I think that would be a great thing or if my daughter wanted to continue and run a cosmetic line or the perfume line that I just launched... I think that would be a great family business that she would want to take over."
"I think my goal in life is to just raise a good human being, someone that's kind and generous to people. Regardless of whether they work in entertainment...I doubt they would work in adult... Whether they want to be a janitor, lawyer, doctor, astronaut, President of the United States or they feel like working in the arts, it's their choice," she added.
On being asked about what pinches her the most on social media, the actor replied that it is when the fanatic groups burn her posters in the streets and said, “It’s nonsense when the media highlights such stories and then they post it on their social media.”
She made it clear that she blocks all such people from her social media accounts who induce physical violence, threats and people who post obscene material. “I don’t want to look at such stuff on my timeline,” she said.
She, however, gave an epic reply to her haters saying, “Those people who hate me are only fuelling my growth. Thank you so much for trolling me. It feels amazing because I know how long you are spending on my page.”
