Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, who is enjoying the success of Gadar 2, recently made headlines when a video of him getting angry at his fan at the airport went viral. In the clip, a fan was trying to take a selfie with the actor, but Sunny lost his cool when the fan took a little more time while clicking a photo with him.

The actor has now reacted to the incident and said he didn’t mean that at all. While talking to YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, he said, "So many times it has happened that I am in pain but still have to keep moving.”

He further added, “Obviously, fans love you, and you share that with them. A lot of times, even when the selfie is done, they don’t move away. So at that time, I am not thinking if someone is recording me, and what I’m thinking is, ‘Let me carry on. Please try and understand. There is an emotional connection with fans.”

He further mentioned that he didn’t do anything wrong, otherwise, he would have apologised and have told the fan, "I have made a mistake; please forgive me." The actor stated that if now he meets that fan, his reaction would be different, he added, “I would hug him and tell him that I didn’t mean it.”

Sunny Deol opened up on his childhood and how he often used to get slapped for not scoring well in his exams and said, “I was dyslexic as a child. Back then, we didn’t even know what that meant! Thappad padte the, duffer hai, padhai nahi aati (I would get slapped, and called duffer for not being able to study). Even now when it comes to reading, sometimes the words seem all jumbled up.”

The actor also recalled a time when people used to ask him to use a teleprompter during public gatherings and he refused saying, “I am like you tell me what to say, I will try to speak.” He further added that he had a very high IQ in childhood and said, “Me being dyslexic never came up in conversation over the years. But it used to get difficult, initially, I would feel (nervous) to speak.”

Sunny Deol made a comeback nearly 9 years after his film Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 with the sequel of his 2001 hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and impressed fans with his performance as Tara Singh.
