With the overwhelming buzz for the movie Gadar 2, the President's office reportedly has requested a special screening of Sunny Deol-starrer.
Sunny Deol's action-drama Gadar 2 was released today and has already raised the bar at the box office. Fans have been excited and nervous for its release and tickets have already been sold to the masses. The historical action movie, a follow-up to the hugely successful Gadar: Ek Prem Katha from 2001, has captured people's interest with its intriguing trailer and appealing tunes. In the movie, Sunny Deol is reprising the role of Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel reprises the role of his wife Sakina. Gadar 2 reportedly centers on Tara's travel to Pakistan to save his son, who is being held captive amid the "Crush India" campaign. The action-packed movie has also caught the attention of the President's office.
According to a report from Pinkvilla Sunny Deol and the Gadar 2 team will host a special screening for India's esteemed President Droupadi Murmu. On the following Sunday, August 13, 2023, in New Delhi, the cast and crew will host the special screening. It's interesting to note that the President's administration sought a special showing of the much-awaited movie. It was exclusively confirmed by the representatives of Zee Studios in an interview with Pinkvilla.
Produced by Zee Studios, Anil Sharma Productions, and MM Movies, apart from Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma, Gadar 2 also stars Manish Wadhwa, Gaurav Chopra, Luv Sinha, Simrat Kaur, Mir Sarwar, Rohit Choudhary, Rakesh Bedi, and many others in supporting roles. For Gadar 2, Mithoon wrote the songs, and Monty Sharma wrote the background music. The film's first counterpart was a riveting success with the Indian audience and now Gadar 2 has shattered many records after selling more than 20 lakh tickets in just 24 hrs.
