While Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar has already denied any plans of entering Bollywood but that's not enough to keep rumours at bay. Recently reports were abuzz about filmmaker Karan Johar offering Student Of The Year 2 which stars Tiger Shroff in the lead to the girl from Haryana.
But now KJo has dismissed rumours of roping in Manushi as a second heroine on SOTY 2. On Thursday, the filmmaker spoke to media at Raymond Crossword Book Awards in Partnership with Wizcraft and said, “There is no truth to the news yet. We are very proud of Manushi’s achievements. I was hosting the show the year she won, so I have met her before and I did see potential in her. I look forward to meeting her… I haven’t met her yet after she won the crown for India. But there has been nothing discussed yet."
The filmmaker who released his biography 'An Unsuitable Boy' last year won an award for the best author award in the category of Popular Choice Award. He said, “I am quite excited about the fact that so many people were excited to know about my life, and I feel very honoured to receive this award.” Karan even hinted at another book on his life but that will take another 30 years. He told media, “I will write the part two after next 30 years. By then hopefully, I will have enough experience and material to write the next book.”
For now Dharma head has an exciting year to look forward to with Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty film 'Simmba', Alia Bhatt-Meghna Gulzar film 'Raazi', 'Kesari' with Akshay Kumar and Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji's venture 'Brahmastra' also in the pipeline.
