Punjabi film actress Isha Rikhi has impressed everyone with her acting skills and has won accolades for her work in Pollywood. The gorgeous actress is now set to make heads turn with her big Bollywood debut.

Isha, who has worked in popular Punjabi films like Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De, Happy Go Lucky and Ardaas, will be making an entry into Bollywood with Remo D’Souza’s upcoming flick Nawabzaade.

Speaking on her entry in B-Town, Ishi told TOI, “I have received a lot of appreciation and warmth for my work in Punjabi films and expect to entertain the viewers equally with my first Bollywood film and receive the same kind of response.”

Elaborating about her character in the film, the actress added, "I play an innocent, girl next door who steals the heart of three friends essayed by Raghav Juyal, Punit Pathak and Dharmesh Yelande. I am happy to have received such a role because I always wanted to play such characters. I did not want to make my debut in a glamorous avatar. A script that would bring out my talent and acting skills is what I wanted and I got exactly that.”

Isha posted a picture on her Instagram handle too, confirming that she is a part of Nawabzaade.

Presented by T series and produced by Remo D'Souza under Remo D'Souza Entertainment, Nawabzaade, a Jayesh Pradhan directorial, will release on July 27 this year.
