'Pathetic, shameful state': Juhi Chawla calls out airport authorities on her return from UAE post IPL 2020

Actor Juhi Chawla who is also the co-owner of IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders stayed in UAE for nearly a month during the 2020 tournament. Earlier this week, the actor headed back to India and took to her Twitter page wherein she posted about the 'pathetic' state of the airport. Juhi posted a video in which she is showing how many people are stranded at the airport and called it a 'shameful state'.

Juhi tweeted, "Request the Airport and Govt authorities to IMMEDIATELY deploy more officials and counters at the Airport Health clearance … all passengers stranded for hours after disembarking .. … flight after flight after flight …..Pathetic, shameful state ..!! @AAI_Official."

Juhi Chawla celebrates her birthday on November 13 and she has turned 53 this year. While thanking her fans for the wishes, the actor tweeted, "My well-wishers, tomorrow is my birthday; the flowers you send in affection will die away in three days but trees you plant will benefit your children & mine for years. I'm ever so grateful for all the love but our farmers & our Earth need it more."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Juhi was last seen in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga directed by debutante Shelly Chopra Dhar. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Sonam K Ahuja and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles. 

She had also made her web series debut with The Test Case in which she played the role of Shraddha Pandit, Indian Minister of Defence.
