Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel's Gadar 2 is all set to earn Rs 55 crore on day 5.
Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel has been doing extremely well at the box office. The film is all set to cross Rs 200 crore mark in India. As per the early estimates by sacnilk.com, the film may earn Rs 55 crore on day 5.
As per the report, the film will earn Rs 55 crore which will be the best Independence Day earnings ever. On Tuesday, on the occasion of Independence Day, the film had an overall 88.85% Hindi occupancy. The overall Indian box office collection will stand at Rs 229 crore. On day 1, the film earned Rs 40.1 crore, 43 crore on day 2, 51.7 crore on day 3, Rs 38.7 crore on day 4.
The film earned a massive Rs 39 crore net in India on Monday, much higher than any Hindi film previously. In comparison, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan – the highest-grossing Hindi film in India – had earned Rs 27 crore on its first Monday just six months ago. With this, Gadar 2 has taken its four-day earnings in India to over Rs 170 crore and worldwide gross to over Rs 200 crore.
Meanwhile, soon after Gadar 2 was released, a special screening was hosted by Esha for family members and close friends. Sunny and Bobby attended the screening, and they even posed with Esha and Ahana before the media.
The photos and videos from the screening went viral on the internet, and Papa Deol, Dharmendra has also seen the video. The veteran actor got emotional after watching the reunion, and he shared his thoughts about the same on the internet. On Twitter, Dharmendra thanked the audience for love and acceptance showered upon Gadar 2, and wrote, "Friends love (heart emoji) you all for making Gadar 2 a big success...Togetherness (is) a great blessing."
Recently, Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol got hitched to Drisha Acharya, however, Esha Deol and Hema Malini’s absence in the wedding festivities grabbed headlines. Although Esha was absent from the wedding, she penned a heartfelt note for the newlyweds on Instagram and wrote, “Congratulations Karan and Drisha. Wishing you both a lifetime of togetherness and happiness (red heart and evil eye amulet emojis).” As far as Gadar 2 is concerned, the film has already earned Rs 83 crores in two days, and the film is performing super-strong at the box office.
