World leaders came together to mourn and pray for the victims and their families after a gunman entered a church in Texas and killed at least 26 people.
The victims ranged in age from 5 to 72 years old, law enforcement officials said at a news conference.
After the shooting, the gunman, described as a white man in his 20s, was fired on by a local resident. He fled in his vehicle and was later found dead in neighboring Guadalupe County.
Several people also raised the topic of gun control, and the need for its regularisation.

This is the second mass shooting in the United States in the past month. On October 1, Stephen Paddock, a gunman, killed 58 people before shooting himself.
