Renowned Grand Prix motorcycle rider Alex Marquez has been deemed unfit to continue participating in the MotoGP Bharat after sustaining multiple rib fractures during the second day of the qualifying round. Following a severe crash, Marquez's injuries are of significant concern, as he now faces a race against time to recover before the upcoming Japanese MotoGP at Montegi.
During Qualifying 1, the 27-year-old secured an impressive second place when a high sider incident occurred, causing Marquez to immediately clutch his chest in pain. Several videos circulating on social media captured the moment medical personnel rushed to his aid following the crash.
Currently, Marquez has been transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and assessment of his condition.

The crash has also resulted in him missing Qualifying 2. With the Japanese MotoGP just a week away, Marquez has limited time to recover from his injuries.
In terms of the complete qualifying results for MotoGP Bharat, Marco Bezzecchi has emerged as the leader in the standings for the inaugural Indian MotoGP at the Buddh International Circuit. Joining Bezzecchi in the main draw will be Jorge Martin and world champion Francesco Bagnaia.
During Qualifying 1, Fabio Di Giannantonio claimed the top spot, followed by Brad Binder and Taakaki Naakagami. The main draw is scheduled for September 24th (Sunday).
