A senior executive of Sun Pictures was arrested today in connection with a complaint pertaining to cash transaction for a film involving the production house, police said.
Chief operating officer Hansraj Saxena was arrested based on the complaint by a distributor who alleged that he was denied a part of the payment by the company in connection with the purchase of Tamil film Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, they said.
The Vishal-starrer was released last year.
Sun Pictures is owned by Kalanidhi Maran, brother of Union minister Dayanidhi Maran.
