Emphasising that the policy of "thousand cuts" is being executed (by Pakistan) and at this time it becomes "difficult" to talk about solutions, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, founder of Isha Foundation, on Wednesday said practical situations need to be handled in different ways when human conflicts occur.

Sadhguru made this statement in an oblique reference to Pakistan and the India-Pakistan relations in the wake of Pulwama terror attacks while speaking at a session named 'South Asia — A Possibility Beyond Present Realities' at WION Global Summit 2019 in Dubai.

"There are lots of dead bodies and a lot of direct families. So there are emotions, strong emotions," he said.

"But there are problems and there are solutions. When we invest in problems, problems multiply," Sadhguru said.

"National boundaries should have been settling but we didn't do that. We had Line of Control (LOC) which is always out of control. We must settle to what is our nation and what is not our nation and until we do so we will bleed for years to come," he said.

On Article 370, which gives special status to the state of Jammu & Kashmir, Sadhguru said, "Article 370 is leaving people confused not knowing of where they belong."

In an indirect reference to Pakistan, which continues to use terrorism as an instrument of state policy, Sadhguru said, "Violence makes sense to somebody that is why they do violence. There is a cruel sense of violence and design behind it." "What lacks in one's soul that one derives pleasure out of violence?" he questioned.

On the withdrawal of Most Favoured Nation (MFN) by India to Pakistan in the wake of Pulwama terror attack, Sadhguru said, "India made a serious effort of giving MFN to our neighbour, but it didn't result so it was withdrawn."
