The new show gets candid on issues like parent-divorce and remarriage, pre-marital sex and condoms. The young cast, comprising of Mishal Raheja, Rohan Tewari, Freishia Bomanbehram and Mamta Jhaveri, share what makes them upbeat and hip

Mishal Raheja
Age: 23
Character played: Kush
"I'm thrilled with the adulation I'm getting from girls and guys. Life is rocking. I would want to do films after the season winds up in ten weeks. I don't feel shy doing this show even though my parents could watch it. They know that I know all about the birds and bees."

Rohan Tewari
Age: 23
Character played: Gaurav
"I acted in 'Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi' on the same channel. I guess it failed because MTV audiences can't relate to Balaji soaps. I am relishing my role of a mischievous kid with a roving eye as I get to chill out with pretty girls. I am confident that it's going to be a journey to the top from here."

Freishia Bomanbehram
Age: 24
Character played: Piya
"I was a RJ and acted as Salman Khan's sister in 'Marigold'. I have shot for an HBO film with Malcolm McDowell. I agreed to do television as MTV is a big draw and the series is focussing on real issues. I have it in me to succeed even as I try different things. I can do much more than what many men can."

Mamta Jhaveri
Age: 22
Character played: Lara
"I have done music videos and ad films. I enjoyed shooting for a video with Babul Supriyo as he was very warm and friendly to me. Shooting in Goa has been more of a vacation. We chilled out together as a group and bonded well. I am willing to experiment with different things post this show."
