Prabhas to be seen in ‘brand new avatar’ in Maruthi’s untitled next

Prabhas is currently enjoying the success of his latest release Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. The film received a positive response from the audience and despite clashing with Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki, it is performing well. Amid this, filmmaker Maruthi has announced his next with Prabhas and without revealing much, pumped up the fans for the yet untitled. 

On Friday, director Maruthi took to his Twitter, and along with a poster, the filmmaker wrote, "Excited and been waiting for this moment for a long time! Happy to present Rebel Star #Prabhas in a brand new avatar See you all for Pongal" The film's production house People Media Factory also shared the same poster and wrote, "People Media Factory proudly unveils the Dinosaur transformed into an absolute DARLING First Look and Title will be unveiled on Pongal." 

The details of the upcoming movie starring Prabhas has not been released yet. However, according to several media reports, the film is titled Raja Deluxe. As per a page on IMDb for Raja Deluxe, the film is a horror comedy and will also feature Sanjay Dutt, Riddhi Kumar, Niddhi Agerwal, and Malavika Mohanan. 

Netizens also expressed their excitement for the collaboration between Prabhas and Maruthi. One of the fans wrote, "We want vintage Darling back." Another wrote, "Loverboy is back." Another wrote, "Another blockbuster loading." Another fan commented, "Maruthi and Prabhas Anna, this will be (fire emoji)." 

Other than this, Prabhas also has Nag Ashwin's science fiction dystopian film, Kalki 2898 AD, in the pipeline. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone among others in key roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on January 12, 2024. 

Meanwhile, Prabhas' recent release, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire has collected Rs 468.5 crore worldwide. Helmed by Prashanth Neel, the film also stars Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran and continues to roar at the box office.
