It was a teary reunion: Farah on Shah Rukh-Shirish Kunder patch up

In what’s being touted as one of Bollywood’s ugliest showdowns in recent times, actor Shah Rukh Khan allegedly slapped filmmaker Shirish Kunder in the wee hours of Monday morning at a bash hosted by actor Sanjay Dutt.

But in a surprising twist that could easily compete with any Bollywood potboiler, SRK, Shirish and wife filmmaker Farah Khan called a truce the very next day. This happened when the actor’s wife Gauri and Farah’s brother filmmaker Sajid stepped in, along with good friend producer Sajid Nadiadwala, to broker peace between the warring parties, who have reportedly been at loggerheads for quite some time now.

“It was a teary reunion,” confirmed Farah. “None of us were happy with what had happened. It has become a source of entertainment for the world and it was best we sorted it out at the earliest. So, we all sat together and discussed the issues and misunderstandings we’ve had in the past couple of months. We had a lot of emotional moments. Gauri and I were in tears, and soon thereafter we hugged and smiled.”
