“Dance is the hidden language of the soul," says Anastasia, an aspiring Dance India Dance contestant.

Anastasia was born and brought up in Belarus. She stumbled upon Dance India Dance episodes on the internet and got hooked onto it.

The turning point came when she met her foster Indian parents at the same time that her biological parents were filing for a divorce.

She welcomed the Indian way of life with open arms and also changed her name to Mansi.

Mansi started taking lessons from a renowned kathak exponent in Delhi. She was already adept at contemporary dance style and picked up the traditional Indian dance form quickly.

Dance India Dance mentors, Remo, Terence and Geeta were very happy with her performance and took no time in giving her the 'Takdeer Ki Topi.'
