Aamir Khan's 'Dangal' is NOT done with RECORDS yet, crosses Rs 1000 crore worldwide!

Aamir Khan's Dangal which released last year, had set new benchmarks in terms of the business that it had done on the Indian box office as well as it's gross collections worldwide. Just when we thought that the film is done done breaking and making records, the film has managed to surprise us all yet again. 

Shortly after SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 became the only Indian film ever to inaugurate the Rs 1000 crore club in terms of gross collections, Dangal has also managed to achieve this feat, courtesy, its humongous response at the Chinese box office. Baahubali: The Conclusion had raked in approx Rs 800 crore from the country and Rs 200 crore from overseas. 

Now, let's take a look at Aamir Khan's Dangal, which is the second film to enter the Rs 1000 crore club, though it took a longer time for Dangal to do so as it had released in December last year in the country. As per a report on Bollywood Hungama, Dangal had managed to collect over Rs 716 crore worldwide with about Rs 205 crore coming in from the overseas and Rs 511 crore from Indian box office. 

Taking into account the Rs 11 crore from the collections of Taiwan, the total collections of Dangal were about Rs 726 crore. The BH report further adds that incukuding the collections of Dangal at the Chinese box office, the overall total collections of the film stand at Rs 1026 crore.

The recent release of the film in China seems to be working wonders for Dangal. Reportedly, the film ended Day nine at the China box office with an approx collection of Rs 300 crore. 

With this, Aamir's Dangal has become the only Hindi movie to have achieved this feat.
