Just when we thought that the cows had come home after a long, long debate about intolerance, Aamir Khan let the cat out of the bag as he talked about it, claiming that his wife wanted to leave the country.
Of course Aamir Khan spoke about a lot of things, including the rise in terrorism, where he spoke out against those who ‘hold the Quran the kill people’ and that anyone killing ‘an innocent wasn’t a Muslim act’ but then people tend to have selective memory when it comes to these kind of things. What followed was a tradition as old as time. Normal, sane individuals turned into travel enthusiasts, made illogical arguments that would make Descartes turn in his grave and in general threatened him for daring to say India was intolerant.

Look what Aamir Khan says is alarmist to the extreme but that does not mean you should get personal by bringing up Mela every damn time.
— greatbong (@greatbong) November 24, 2015
#AamirKhan's remark, though sadly alarmist, shdn't be brushed aside. Those in power shd ponder over why a great actor like him is saying so.
