SBI Exam 2021: State Bank of India postpones Junior Associates prelims till July 13 in these 4 cities

The State Bank of India (SBI) has postponed the SBI Junior Associates preliminary exam till July 13. SBI JA Prelims have been deferred in all centres in four cities -- Shillong, Agartala, Aurangabad (Maharashtra) and Nashik. 

The official notice reads, "Due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the Preliminary Examination for the post of Junior Associates scheduled to be held at Shillong, Agartala, Aurangabad (Maharashtra) and Nashik Centres from 10.07.2021 to 13.07.2021 has been deferred. The revised date of the examination for these centres will be notified later on." 

"The candidates, who have been allotted Shillong, Agartala, Aurangabad (Maharashtra) and Nashik Centres for Preliminary Examination have been intimated by mail and sms in their registered email id/ mobile number in this regard," it added.

The recruitment of Junior Associates for the state/UT of “Ladakh”, “Manipur” and “Leh and Kargil Valley under special drive” has been kept in abeyance till further notice.

SELECTION PROCEDURE: The selection process will consist of an online test (Preliminary and Main exam) and a test of specified opted local language.

Pay Scale: Rs.17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550- 1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates.
