In his teens now, Karnal boy Kautilya Pandit shot to nationwide fame at the tender age of 5 for his unparalleled memory. The gifted young kid left any and everybody in awe, including the Bollywood legend and quizmaster Amitabh Bachchan. He has impressed the likes of former Presidents Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Dr Pranab Mukherjee. 

Kautilya was born in Haryana’s Sonipat to parents hailing from Kohand village in Gharonda in 2007. His exceptional memory meant that at an age when kids are learning alphabets and numbers, he could recollect vast knowledge of politics, economics, world geography and even astronomy. 

He was dubbed as ‘Google Boy’ and ‘Human Computer’ by the media as shows left viewers stunned by his knowledge. He was invited as the youngest person to sit on the hot seat on hit TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) hosted by Amitabh Bachchan. In awe, Big B had tweeted at the time, “That genius kid, Kautilya Pandit, just above five years and answers questions that many scientists and knowledgeable (sic) persons could never (answer).”.

The Haryana government backed Kautilya’s exceptional talent with a Rs 10 lakh reward. He is currently studying at the GD Goenka World School. Kautilya aspires to join the Indian space agency ISRO and as an astrophysicist and serve the nation. 

His IQ was tested by the Psychology Department of Kurukshetra University and came out to be 134. When tested according to German parameters, it reportedly came out to be 155. Kautilya is also a motivational speaker.
