Ahead of India's upcoming clash against Nepal in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023, the talented fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has departed from the team camp and returned to Mumbai. The official reason for his departure has not been disclosed, but it is anticipated that Bumrah will rejoin the team if the Men in Blue successfully qualify for the Super Fours of the competition.

According to reports, Bumrah is currently in excellent physical condition and may have left for India to attend to personal matters. In his absence, Mohammed Shami is highly likely to make his comeback to the playing XI, as the match against Nepal is a crucial one for both teams. The team that secures their first victory in the Asia Cup will advance to the next round.

Meanwhile, in the match against Pakistan, India's top order suffered a catastrophic collapse and struggled against the formidable bowling attack of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Naseem Shah. Consequently, the team's objective will be to improve their performance in the upcoming match. Led by Rohit Sharma, the team is determined to excel in the Asia Cup 2023 and adequately prepare for the forthcoming ODI World Cup.

During the previous match, both star batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were left bewildered by Shaheen's exceptional bowling, while Shreyas Iyer, who aims to solidify his position as the number four batsman in the ODI lineup, once again fell victim to a short ball. Additionally, the young talent Shubman Gill failed to leave a lasting impression on the game.

On the other hand, Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya displayed exceptional cricket skills, contributing significantly to India's respectable score. Kishan, currently filling in for the injured KL Rahul, scored an impressive 82 runs, while Pandya smashed 87 runs in Pallekele.

Unfortunately, the bowlers were unable to showacse there skills due to rain. However, they are determined to make a strong impact against Nepal. It is worth noting that Nepal, led by Rohit Paudel, suffered a humiliating defeat against Pakistan in the opening match of the competition. As a result, they will be eager to bounce back, but it will undoubtedly be a challenging task for them.
