IPL 2019: Royal Challengers Bangalore created a record by losing six straight matches in the ongoing Indian Premier League matches. However, they have now begun their winning run and the ultimatum was when they defeated table-toppers Chennai Super Kings on Sunday (21 April).

Dhoni played an excellent knock as he led CSK to till the last ball, but RCB held their nerves. Chasing a target of 162, CSK needed a near-impossible 26 off the last over bowled by Umesh Yadav. Dhoni hit three sixes and a four collecting 24 runs off the first five balls.

However, with two needed off the last ball, Umesh managed to bowl a slower delivery and Dhoni missed it as Patel ran out Shardul Thakur in the final delivery.

But, this last-ball thriller was not the only highlight of the match. Virat Kohli’s brother Vikash Kohli who was viewing the match on TV was caught on camera screaming and shouting as he celebrated his brother's victory.

“A whole lot of emotion. We were outstanding with the ball until the 19th over mark. On the last ball, that was the last thing I would’ve expected to happen. Feels good to win a game by a small margin. MS did what he does best and he gave us all a massive scare. In the first six overs, we thought the ball wasn’t coming onto the bat that much. PP and AB started to rebuild. At the halfway mark we thought 175 would’ve been a very good total on this pitch. We thought we were 15 short,” said Kohli at the post-match presentation.

CSK continue to dominate the points table while RCB are still last with three wins.
