Siddharth Kaul took two wickets as India won the match to win the series.
Siddharth Kaul impressed everyone with his bowling during the 3rd T20 International match between India and England in Bristol on Sunday. The bowler who was playing just his second international game picked up two wickets for 35 runs.
India won the match by 7 wickets as Rohit Sharma scored an unbeaten century. India clinched the three-match T20 International series 2-1.
The Indian vice-captain made a target of 199 look ridiculously easy on a small Bristol ground after the visiting bowlers did a commendable job at the back end to restrict the hosts to a sub-par score.
Sachin Tendulkar on Sunday congratulated Kaul for his efforts. The Master Blaster who was watching the match and tweeting througout the match wrote, "Mix of variations at the right time from @sidkaul22 was the key to his 2 superb wickets. Good job."
Siddharth was floored by the compliment and he responded with a tweet of his own. He wrote, "What more can one ask for? This is the biggest compliment of my life and I will always keep it close to my heart. Thank you @sachin_rt sir. Will always give my best whenever I will step on the field. I have learnt this from you"
Kaul also thanked Harbhajan Singh for his kind words after the match. "Thank you so much for the encouragement Bhajju Pa @harbhajan_singh Will work harder and will continue making you proud," he tweeted.

Kaul, who recently made his T20I debut against Ireland, was included in the team in place of injured Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Pacer Deepak Chahar was also handed his first international T20I cap on the day. Hardik Pandya was the pick of the bowlers, accounting for four wickets while Umesh Yadav took 1 for 48.
