The Indian Premier League(IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings took to Twitter to share one of the famous quotes from a popular TV series, Game Of Thrones after BCCI chief ridiculed the fake reports of MS Dhoni's retirement.

It all started when India skipper Virat Kohli share his memory of a Super 10 match vs Australia during the 2016 T20I World Cup and labeled the match 'unforgettable' as MS Dhoni made him sprint like in a fitness test.

It was a knockout match for both the teams, with the winner securing a semifinal spot for themselves.

On the chase of 161 runs, India lost three early wickets and were at 3-49 in 7.4 overs. Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh stitched together a 45-run partnership for the fourth wicket before James Faulkner removed Yuvraj in the 14th over leaving the team at 4-94.

It was MS Dhoni who joined Kohli in the middle and formed the match-winning 67-run partnership to put Team India over the line. During the partnership, Kohli added the most of the runs in the form of singles and doubles.=

Netizens then stated speculating the that Dhoni was going to retire on Thursday and will be holding a press conference at 7 pm.

CSK, lead by MS Dhoni himself in the IPL, posted a tweet saying, "Not 7oday."

The quote was said by a GOT character Syrio Forel who said, "There is only one god, and His name is Death. And there is only one thing we say to Death: 'not today.'"

MS Dhoni's wife Sakshi Singh also posted a tweet rubbishing all the rumors about the former India skipper announcing his retirement from cricket.

Sakshi's post read, "Its called rumours !" as she ended all the speculations about the fake retirement news.
