Here’s a checklist for the five most essential things that you should keep in mind on your car delivery day:

Documents
Make sure that you have all your papers in place, including invoices, certifications (PUC), insurance papers, receipts and everything else required by the car dealership. This also includes contacts and details of after-sales services and centres. We suggest you colour-code and file all your documents neatly, it’ll always help in the future.  

Demo
Push a few buttons and sit on the driver’s seat at the showroom, after all it is now your car! If you’re buying a car with some additional features and other paraphernalia it’s advisable that you get a thorough demo for the same by the sales team.

There are many additional accessories that car companies on offer these days and considering you’re buying a high-end car, it’s only fair that you get all the add-ons along with it.

Insurance and Warranty
This goes without saying, insurance and warranty are two important aspects of car buying. Make sure that you’ve taken all the stamps and signatures required for the same.

Check your car
Just as a precaution, check your car thoroughly for any damages or repair marks because sometimes these cars are offered for test drives in the showrooms. Check the manufacturing date and ensure that your car is brand new in every aspect.
