Air India announces new flight on Chennai-Delhi-Chennai sector

Air India today announced a new flight on the Chennai-Delhi-Chennai sector.

The daily service would come into effect from May 15, a company release here said.
  
The A 321 aircraft would leave Chennai at one pm daily and reach Delhi at 3.45pm. In the return direction, the flight would leave Delhi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 12.40 pm and reach Chennai at 3.20 pm.

In view of the runway closure at the Chennai airport,on Tuesdays and Saturdays the Delhi-Chennai flight would leave Delhi at 2.30 pm and reach Chennai at 5.10pm, it said.

With the introduction of the new flight,Air India operates five direct flights from Chennai to Delhi, besides the sixth
flight via Visakhapatnam, the release added.
