Ve Fukrey is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, sung by Dev Negi and Asees Kaur, and written by Shabbir Ahmed. Fukrey 3 releases in cinemas on September 28.
The first song from Fukrey 3 titled Ve Fukrey has been released by the makers on Monday, September 11. The track shows the film's protagonists Pulkit Samrat, Pankaj Tripathi, Varun Sharma, and Manjot Singh grooving to the track in a club with multiple background dancers.
Ve Fukrey is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, sung by Dev Negi and Asees Kaur, written by Shabbir Ahmed and the song video is choreographed by Bosco Martis. The track has left the fans highly disappointed with one of them saying, "Mazza nahi aaya (This wasn't fun)", and the other added, "Bakwaas gaana (Nonsense track)".
Fukrey 3 is the third part of the comedy franchise after Fukrey (2013) and Fukrey Returns (2017). All the three films are directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Richa Chadha has returned as the antagonist and Ali Fazal is missing from the main cast. The 3 Idiots actor was busy with other projects including Mirzapur 3, with the same production house Excel Entertainment and hence couldn't be a part of the threequel.
"It breaks my heart (to not be a part of Fukrey 3) but that was also nothing to do with Hollywood. It was actually, I was stuck with work here and Mirzapur 3 was also happening at the same time. It was the same production so we all had to take a call together", Ali had talked about his absence from the film in an interview with News18 in June earlier this year.
Earlier slated to release on December 1 with Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and Vicky Kaushal's Sardar Udham, Fukrey 3's release date has been preponed to September 28 after reports emerged that Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's Salaar, which was earlier slated to arrive on that date, has been postponed. Now, the comedy film will clash with Vivek Agnihotri's The Vaccine War, based on India's battle against Covid-19.
